Good bbq, warning: they do sauce the meat before it comes to the table. Good prices, sides are well portioned. The sweet potato fluff was delicious. Plenty of space inside and active, helpful waitresses.

Great bar b que. Also you must try the homemade 🍌 pudding. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

Everything was amazing! I tried the fried chicken, ribs, coleslaw, and the chocolate fudge pie. Wish I would have come here sooner in the week so I could have eaten here more during my visit!

Today was my first day every eating at pruetts and I will never eat there again 3 families walked in behind me and was served before me I looked over that but when I got ready to pay I gave the cashier my money hand in hand when she counted my change back she laid it on the counter..... I said ma’am I handed my money to you and when you gave change back you laid it on the counter what I wanted to tell her.... but I walked off and I will Never go back

So good!!! I’m not from here but come up here for work a lot, I wanted something local and found this! I actually went through the drive thru. It was so quick and so yummy. I got the pork plate with ocra and chips!

I've travelled all over the U.S. & HANDS DOWN this place is THE BEST! Always meaty, juicy ribs & the sides never disappoint. Service is impeccable every time. And, Oh Lord, that sweet sweet sweet tea💗

This place was packed when we arrived and we were really surprised to be seated almost immediately. Our server was really friendly and offered us suggestions and answered all of our questions. I had a turkey sandwich plate, which was 2 or 3 half-inch thick slices of moist, delicious smoked turkey on Texas toast with lettuce, tomato, pickle and cheese and came with 2 sides. The sandwich had a LOT of turkey on it and it was scrumptious! They have a great selection of sides. I had mac and cheese (which was good) and sweet potato fries (which were awesome)! My husband had the bbq pork with slaw and green bean casserole and he really enjoyed his whole meal, as well. Service was fast, we were really shocked how quickly our food arrived since the whole place was full. We really enjoyed our meals and the service and will definitely be back!

The barbecue there is amazing they also have terrific amazing turkey and dressing and catfish Blaze and whole catfish on the bone all their food is great

Today was our first time at Pruetts, it was great. We had BBQ pork and catfish and it was delicious. Also the sweet potato fluff was awesome. We will definitely be back .

Oh My Goodness- this place was just marvelous. Country cooking at its best. It was packed with locals on a Friday night and a waiting line. The barbeque smelled wonderful, but we ended up getting the 4 veggie plate. They had about 12 veggies to choose from, which made it hard to choose. I got Brunswick stew (Yes, it got counted as a vegetable), fried squash, onion rings, Cole slaw. They added a huge slab of cornbread and a stalk of green onion. All this for $6.50!! My daughter ate the sweet potato fluff- it could be eaten as dessert. Will come back soon.

Food is very average. Atmosphere is loud and service is below average. Prices are reasonable for what you order. The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. Potato salad was very bland. The fried squash average. If you like good barbeque don't order it here. No genuine smoked flavor and the sauce appears to be mainly catsup. The salad was wilted. The banana pudding was good. The sweet tea had an "off" taste to it. Don't believe we will try this establishment again.

The food is pretty incredible, especially the banana pudding. I know where ill be eating bbq in Gadsden now

Ate lunch today and enjoyed the food and the service. The vegetables were good and I will be back. Please fire the guy that makes the "not so good" cornbread. LOL

They have went pandemic crazy. Do not go there. They pile everyone up in cars outside or in your car in the heat. They got rid of more seating than required. It's bad. No salt or pepper.

Good old southern hospitality was found here. We loved the warm atmosphere here. It was like eating at a family reunion. The food was good and the service was wonderful.

The food at Pruett's Bar-B-Que is consistently good. We have dined here several times and have always enjoyed our meals. Although Pruett's is extremely crowded at certain times, most of the time we are seated immediately. If there is a wait it is usually relatively short. Their parking lot is a little small so as a general rule, if you can find a parking space you can be seated without too much of a delay.

Awesome smoked chicken and the service was faster than heck! Will definitely go back.

Food was excellent as always.Tables were spaced apart 6ft.Employees not wearing masks and red lines 6 ft apart at cash register were being ignored by customers.

The BBQ baked potato was incredible!

1st off, very nice crowd at a little after 4pm. Crowd is 1st thing i look for when going somewhere for the 1st time. Next Hailey was our waitress and she was great, she was on top of everything. When asked what's good, she loved everything. My wife and I had the catfish. Really good my baked potato was cooked just the way I like them. Overall the experience was great.P.S. Even though I didn't eat barbecue. Actually 1st impression was the smoke and smell of meat smoking. Necessity for preparing my senses for this adventure.

I have been working in this area for almost a year and staying in the Red Roof Inn which is directly across from the restaurant I have eaten there a lot but today I was there with my family because my grandson is starting school In the area monday and tomorrow 8-15 is move in day at the dorm we could not have asked for better food or service

Had the BBQ Pork Plate with greens and potato salad. Great food and huge portions. Sweet tea is good too 👍🇺🇸

Got the whole rack of ribs plus 2 sides and the rib meat was just falling off the bone they were so tender. The waitress was always checking on us keeping our drinks filled. Can't wait to go back.

I know everyone in Etowah county loves this place. It is good, I enjoy their chicken fingers, and the baked beans are really good. I enjoy their mac-n-cheese when they have it. They do not always have everything available which is upsetting when you have been craving something. I understand once or twice, but it seems like every time I am here there are always out of some stock. The other food does make up for it, so it is not the end of the world. They have a good atmosphere and good customer service, so 4 stars from me.

Excellent ribs, pulled pork, sweet tater fluff and fried okra!! And thats just a small selection off the menu. Everything looked and smelled wonderful! My only complaint is the barbecue sauce- there is only one choice, and its a vinegar based sauce. I'm more a sweet and smoky gal. But we brought the food home and used our own sauces. Plan on going back one more time before heading westward. This place is a keeper!

Pruett's restaurant has been one of our favorites for decades (yes, decades). If you like bar-b-que, ribs, vegetable plates, hamburger steaks, etc it's all great but, to be clear, be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes because a whole lot of other people love Pruett's like we do...good food, good people, good prices, Southern hospitality....great.

My husband and I went there tonight for the first time. The service and the food was fantastic. The mac and cheese is amazing! Even though they were kinda busy our food came out quickly. I can't believe we never thought to stop in before. We will definitely be back.

One of my favorite places to eat!! The service is always great, employees are all friendly, and go out of their way to make sure your visit is perfect. Food is aways flavorful and fresh! Stan and Cindy do an amazing job of giving back to the community too. AND, don't forget dessert!

BBQ done right! fast service for a packed house on a Friday lunch. All three of our meals came out hot and tasty. Chicken salad, Catfish and BBQ pork and beef. No bad choices

Great food and friendly service

Stopped here on a road trip to try alabama food for the first time. We were both quite disappointed. We got the 1/2 chicken and the pulled pork. Both meats were barely warm on the outside and completely cold inside. The pulled pork didn’t taste good and had tons of hard bits that were inedible. The cat couldn’t even chew them. We threw it out. The sides were nothing special, but alright. Would never return. Waste of money

What a wonderful place to eat! Everything was so spectacular. I can't wait to come back and try something else. If you go you HAVE to get the sweet potato fluff! Nice people and great food!
